Amsterdam Museum got something new for the people that feel like doing something fun after work. Every second Thursday of the month, After Hours will provide music, readings and museum tours. They are kicking off the first edition on July 11 with ‘identity’ as its theme. This theme is related to the current exhibition Fashion Statements, which was curated by me. The exhibition allowed six fashion designers, such as Bas Kosters and Edson Sabajo (PATTA), to reflect on fashion throughout the years. Guess who is giving the museum tour during After Hours? Me! There will be 3 tours in which she will guide visitors through the exhibition. Also, there will be a talk with designer Karim Adduchi, a reading with fashion journalist Aynouk Tan, music provided by DJ Rachida and a head wrapping workshop by Miss Yaa and Modemuze.
