The Open Space Contemporary Art Museum (OSCAM) is a cultural destination located in the Bijlmer, that I founded together with the municipality of Amsterdam. OSCAM is the museological platform for art, fashion, design, craftsmanship and development in Amsterdam. The museum was opened in celebration of 50 years of Bijlmer to highlight the cultural diversity and richness of the district, and has since shown high quality exhibitions in cooperation with big names in the art, music and fashion industry. The museum serves as a creative hub for the residents of the Bijlmer where they can meet with renowned artists and as a result contributes to the reputation of the Bijlmer.
