7 months ago (July 6, 2022), with 10 other experts, we started the committee ‘Our colonial past in fifty objects’ for the Volkskrant! The 50 stories are written by 50 different authors, from young historians to well-known writers. After years I also got back into writing and wrote about the ‘object Vlisco’. Read more here.
